During the EDCAR tour this week in El Dorado Hills, I had a moment to admire yet another stunning kitchen in Serrano. This kitchen was a spare no expense example of what is possible in kitchen design. It was however, a small design element that caught my eye. A feature that could exist in many kitchens without the need for over the top expense.
The kitchen island spice cupboard.
In my travels I have seen many ways to organize spices. The spice rack – the spice drawer – the spice pull out – earnest attempts to try to wrangle all of those hardly used but sometimes necessary cooking spices.
The kitchen island spice cupboard is pure genius in my opinion. The ends of kitchen islands are rarely used and what a clever way to utilize this over-looked space.
A spicy idea for your kitchen.
