There is nothing casual about buying or selling real estate. If I had to pick one common element that all successful buyers and sellers share, I would have to say DESIRE. The clients that make it all the way to the closing table have the emotional fortitude to work through all of the obstacles that are placed in their path. They are prepared to run the race and are able to successfully navigate choppy waters and arrive at the finish.
So how does Justin Bieber even relate to real estate? DESIRE
The picture you see is my 12 year old daughter meeting Justin Bieber at his recent concert. Over the past year she had been lobbying hard for the chance to see him in concert and meet him before the show. She didn’t just assume that it would happen, she did her homework. She tracked his concert tour and fan site to figure out the possibilities. She partnered with her professional agent (my wife) and they successfully lobbied that the expense was justified. She secured the VIP tickets, developed her plan, and executed to a T.
In short, my daughter had the neccesary DESIRE and she turned that into action. Buyers and sellers in real estate that have the DESIRE to make it happen, almost always do. Those that ‘are not in a hurry’ or better yet, ‘don’t need to sell’ often find themselves standing outside the arena without a ticket to the show.
